High school students sometimes feel as though the rest of their classmates are passing them by, especially if they have failed to understand a fundamental concept in their classes. They
then are unable to keep up with the constantly increasing workload, and eventually fail the subject due to a lack of resources.
Sadly, this is the case for many young Australians. Senior student Russell Egan recognized this in many of his class mates, and become determined to do something about it. Through his
development, The Student Help Forum (www.studenthelpforum.com/forum) was developed.
I saw a need for school students all over Queensland to be able to communicate with one another about their work he said in a recent interview. Teachers sometimes gloss over some ideas,
and if you do not understand it the first time, then you may not understand it ever.
The Student Help Forum realizes that teachers are not always clear, but a student can often put the idea back into the simplest terms.
With time, and participation, The Student Help Forum will attempt to include all Queensland high school students within its forum.
