Saugerties, NY June 28, 2009 -- ROCKMOUNT Equestrian Center, a brand new state of the art equestrian facility located in the picturesque upstate community of Saugerties, New York, will open for lessons, boarding, and summer camp, July 1st, 2009. The 75 acre facility features a 5-furlong oval training track, riding trails, an outdoor riding ring, turnouts, a 100's x 160's Indoor Arena with a viewing area and game room, 40 - 12'sx12's stalls, hot water wash stall, tack and feed rooms, laundry room, camera monitoring, exercise machine, horse playpen, a full staff and vet tech on the premises.

Announcing the new summer camp program, Joann Grennan, ROCKMOUNT'ss manager, said, We have the only 100's x 160's indoor arena with an air conditioned/heated viewing room in Saugerties, enabling us to offer indoor and outdoor riding programs, rain or shine. Our indoor facility has plenty of room for riding, games and activities in all kinds of weather. Children can enjoy crafts and games in our air conditioned viewing room while at camp, and ride twice a day, either indoors or outside in our beautiful outdoor arena. Friday is fun day for all. We provide lunch and ice cream and games for the kids to conclude their memory-filled week.

Ms. Grennan also announced a full summer program: July includes a Teens Camp Program, Ladies Lesson Nights starting in July, where the ladies can enjoy a fun group lesson, and then relax with a wine and cheese get-together to end the summer nights; husbands are invited if you want! August features Beginner and Intermediate Camps, a Camp Horse Show, and an Adult Summer Camp, where parents get two half-days to enjoy the horses without the kids.
