Relatrix Partners with Avtex to Deliver Integrated Notification



Relatrix Corporation today announced that it has partnered with Avtex Corporation to deliver a new community notification service called EZDial, as part of their EZCommunicator product. EZCommunicator is an integrated online contact center for schools and school districts. EZDial adds outbound dialing to the current email notification functionality of EZCommunicator. School communication staff can now include a phone message along with email notification for security or other alerts to parents and community members. The EZDial service is made available through Avtex's CityWatch product, which is a leading solution for the government and emergency response notification market.



Through our partnership with Avtex we can now deliver the most comprehensive notification solution to school districts, as part of our integrated online contact center, said Mark Franke, President of Relatrix. EZDial delivers on our mission to provide our customers with all the tools they need to communicate online with their stakeholders.



Avtex is already the leader in several other markets that require inbound and outbound phone notification, but we wanted to work with a company that knew the K12 market really well, to meet the specific needs of educators, said Don Denman, Vice President of Business Development at Avtex. The fact that both of our companies offer hosted, web-based communication products makes the integration very straight forward. We'sre excited about working with Relatrix to deliver the most comprehensive communication solution in the public education market.



EZDial will be available later this year as part of Relatrix's regular product update schedule. The service is designed to provide seamless integration of the user interface between EZCommunicator and the Avtex CityWatch product. Customers that sign up for the EZDial service can license a fixed number of minutes each school year to use when sending out notifications. They can add more minutes to their plan at anytime during the year. Relatrix will market EZDial as an optional service, and will provide a single point of contact for districts that want to combine email and phone notification functionality.
