Tasa Graphic Arts Inc Releases Explore the Planets Version 20 CDROM...

Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of our latest product: Explore the Planets CD-ROM, Version 2.0.

Written by G. Jeffrey Taylor, Ph.D., Explore the Planets is an educational software program that explores planetary geology of the solar system. Intended for grades 5-12, the CD-ROM is fully narrated and examines how volcanism, cratering, tectonics, wind, and flowing water shape each planet.

The new version includes data and images from recent discoveries and missions in space. After touring the solar system and studying each of the nine planets and their satellites, students can pilot a space ship and test their knowledge by racing to identify planetary bodies.

Explore the Planets is easy to navigate and includes colorful animations, video clips, a visual index, illustrated glossary, planet database, and review questions and activities. It is built for Windows 98/2000/XP as well as Macintosh OS 9.2 and OS X.

Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. produces award-winning interactive, educational CD-ROMs emphasizing visual-aided learning, helping students grasp difficult concepts and encouraging them to learn even more about Earth science. In addition to planetary geology, Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. has published CD-ROMs covering plate tectonics, rocks & minerals, weather and climate, the processes that shape Earth'ss surface, and more. Our programs align with National Science Education Standards. Our web address is: www.TasaGraphicArts.com.
