The software is used for downloading, tracking and analyzing test results from Lifeloc alcohol testing equipment. Law enforcement officers and users in other countries find DataTrak helpful in tracking the number of tests performed by a person or in trending breath alcohol test data. In addition, the new release provides users with the unique ability to receive remote diagnostics service analysis from the factory.

Remote diagnostics is a unique service from Lifeloc Technologies. The software was designed to reduce or eliminate shipping costs and to keep equipment in use for Lifeloc portable breath test owners. Users simply connect their portable breath tester to their computer, then easily download information and send it to Lifeloc. There, a technician analyzes the data and determines if the tester requires factory adjustments or if the instrument can be remotely adjusted by a Lifeloc technician.

In addition to helping law enforcement keep testers in use, remote diagnostics is also especially helpful with the rapidly expanding use of breathalyzers in the international arena. In addition to eliminating the cost to ship portable breath testers to the US for issues, Lifeloc is also able to make some remote adjustments to equipment to optimize or customize usage.
