Don L. Rondeau interviews Terrorism Knowledge Base acting director and program coordinator James O Ellis in the new episode of The Rondeau Report. Mr Ellis represents the Terrorism
Knowledge Base, which compiles and manages information on global terrorist activities to include court records, reports of incidents and decades worth of statistics and best practices.
Hear directly from the source how security practitioners are using this information to protect America. See episode here: http://redteamone.com/images/RR3.WMV.
In this episode, I speak with the executive director of the MIPT Terrorism Knowledge Base. This is a DHS-funded program with incredible free analytical support capabilities for all
concerned. They have the vast majority of all terrorist-related events since 1968 on file. Also, they have hundreds of best practice type reports available for all to use.
Key issues
> Do the various plans being implemented across the nation take into account the fact based historical data made available by TKB
> Are the owners of critical Infrastructure(which are largely private sector firms) taking advantage of this free key resource
> Is the federal Intel/HLS community spending money to build terrorism support systems that are redundant
