Each week America'ss Number one Satellite Phone Company, All Road Communications http://www.allroadcommunications.com, gives you a look
at what is driving demand for satellite phones.
We have a number of factors driving demand this week, the top four are Tropical Storm Ernesto, the Hurricane Katrina Anniversary, Burning Man and the Baja 1000, said All Road'ss Chris
Hoar.
Last week our customers were concerned about Tropical Storm Debby, which thankfully turned north away from the mainland. But Tropical Storm Ernesto has raised its ugly head this week and
the Hurricane Katrina anniversary is all over cable TV news. Apart from that satellite phone rentals for Burning Man still figure highly in our numbers, and this is the first week that we
have seen strong demand for the Baja 1000 Off Road race, he said.
Although the numbers are relatively low compared to satellite phone rentals, we are seeing strong demand this week for high speed mobile satellite internet rental units, mostly the Nera
Worldpro 1000, with service from InmarSat. Now that InmarSat has turned on its US BGAN service, word seems to be spreading and we anticipate quicker growth in rentals and sales of these
units in the months ahead, said Hoar.
All Road Communications rents Globalstar and Iridium satellite phones from as low as $19.49 per week. All Road also rents Nera mobile high speed internet access units on the InmarSat
Network from as low as $119 per week.
All Road is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and offers overnight and even same day delivery throughout the USA and Europe.
