Exciting New Announcements to Be Made By SSI During 2nd Annual National Urban Area Security Initiative Conference in April

Security Solutions International (SSI) will use the platform of this year's Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) to officially launch The Counter Terrorist Magazine: the Official Journal of the Homeland Security Professional and to host a one day version of its high-demand Jihad 2.0: Virtual to Physical intelligence program.

The Counter Terrorist Magazine, the first of its kind in the multi-billion dollar homeland security industry, is a full-color, high production value print publication created to provide the vital technical and best practices information necessary to assist America's First Responders in successfully dealing with and defeating terrorism and other security threats within the United States and abroad. The articles included in The Counter Terrorist reflect on current homeland security concerns and illustrate the real-world experiences of professionals directly involved in combating terrorism and handling a wide range of emergency situations.

In his recent appearance on the Fox Business show, Money for Breakfast, SSI President Henry Morgenstern commented: "Homeland security is very complex. It happens at the federal, state, and local level and you have to reach the First Responders to be able to reach your clients we [SSI have a direct ear to the decision makers and to the people that do the jobs. The purpose of the Counter Terrorist is to get first-class information if you're a mayor, and you want to know how to protect your city, you're going to read the Counter Terrorist."

The Counter Terrorist Magazine will initially be mailed to over 10,000 verified SSI subscribers internationally and, in addition to the Counter-Terrorist online newsletter, will become one of the most comprehensive resources for First Responders worldwide.

As part of the UASI event, SSI will be also hosting a one-day version of its high-demand Jihad 2.0: Virtual to Physical intelligence program. Jihad 2.0 has been presented as a workshop to hundreds of law enforcement and intelligence agencies from across the country. It increases awareness of the entire Terror-threat life cycle without undue focus on any one aspect or modus operandi in order to give Homeland Security an advantage in understanding phenomena like Suicide Terror and other tactics which, far too often, are treated as independent or isolated threats.

The UASI conference brings together hundreds of people from various intelligence, law enforcement, and First Responders communities in order to provide a forum for discussion and collaboration on information relating to technical and managerial aspects of security training, resources, and best practices. This year's conference, sponsored by the US Department of Homeland Security to aid state and local counter terrorism efforts, Will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina from April 21-23rd.
