Attorney Yannetti Prevails In Battle of the Lawyers



Attorney David Yannetti (http://www.davidyannetti.com/) won the trophy for Most Compelling Argument at the fourth annual Battle of the Lawyers event at MCLE last November. Attorney Yannetti'ss highly commended closing in the Jeffrey Curley murder case (http://www.davidyannetti.com/PracticeAreas/Murder.asp) proved to be the highlight of an intriguing assortment of legal arguments spanning the evening.



Attorney Yannetti shined with his closing argument from the Curley murder trial, bringing those present in the room back to the courtroom where, ultimately, two men were convicted of murder and Attorney Yannetti earned a reputation as a fearless litigator. Members of the Massachusetts Bar and Judiciary mingled at the lively event which raised $5,000 for charity, a portion of which went to Atty. Yannetti'ss charity of choice: The Jimmy Fund.



The event featured the brightest legal minds in Massachusetts. Arguments by Attorney Yannetti and other notable attorneys proved highly charged and memorable. The Battle, presented by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, is one of a kind in Boston'ss legal community. A jury composed of respected attorneys, judiciary and local celebrities, including politicians and members of the news media, ultimately convened to render their verdict, handing Attorney Yannetti the coveted trophy.



The Battle of the Lawyers is always a terrific opportunity to witness other talented attorneys at the top of their game.
