Attorneys and legal professionals displaced by hurricane Katrina are being offered free Internet collaboration services by ClientAttorney.com.
The parent company, CLC Technology is offering its web portal product ClientAttorney.com free to attorneys and legal professionals in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama for a period of
one year to help in rebuilding their legal practices. Many legal practitioners are working from hotels with their legal staff and clients scattered across many states as a result of
Katrina. The ClientAttorney.com web application provides Internet based client-attorney workgroups that attorneys can use for remote collaboration with their clients and other
attorneys.
With so many attorneys and clients displaced and most of the computer and paper legal records damaged or destroyed by Katrina, Internet based legal collaboration is perhaps the only way
an attorney can work remotely with their staff and clients.
The one year free service provides attorneys affected by Katrina the ability to upload to the workgroups any digital files they may have with them into file folders securely assigned to
individual case matters, within the workgroup correspond with their clients by leaving messages, and setting tasks and calendar dates, which are among the many features of the
ClientAttorney.com site.
As part of the assistance for attorneys who may have lost their web sites from the hurricane, CLC Technology will provide free web sites that are customized for each attorney.
The CLC Technology staff has dedicated a team of volunteers who will give of their time to make sure each attorney who needs assistance will be provided with complete care in getting
started with their client workgroups, putting content on their website, or any technical questions.
CLC Technology has a web site at www.ClientAttorney.com or legal professionals can call the toll free number 866-262-5750 to get started on this free offer which can be taken advantage of
until January of 2007.
