May 16, 2006 -- Cohn believes that for the United States to hold such an arrogant attitude towards people who come here for a better life, work hard, and maintain a strong sense of community and culture for themselves and contribute to the economy is ridiculous. "For our society to continue basing our decisions and policies on outdated ideas that do not regard humanity as a whole is shortsighted and destructive", said Cohn.



Laura Cohn is an advocate of new thinking and takes issue when unconscious behavior is being promoted in the news. She particularly seeks to infuse accepted beliefs with new ideas so that people will not automatically buy into what corporate and government leaders are selling to people as necessary policies in society that do not serve the greater good for all people living on the planet now and in future generations.
