LaBovick LaBovick Wald PA Partners with The Hispanic Chamber of Palm...

The law firm of LaBovick LaBovick & Wald, PA. (www.LaBovick.com) is pleased to announce that Ms. Isis Milian is the recipient of the 2007 LaBovick LaBovick & Wald Scholarship in partnership with the Hispanic Chamber of Palm Beach.



Isis Milian is a Senior at Forest Hill High School. In addition, Isis is an honors student and serves as a Battalion Commander of the Falcon Army Junior ROTC. She is a self-determined young woman, destined for success. Isis came to the United States seven years ago from Cuba with her parents and her sister. Her perseverance has allowed her to overcome hardships and accomplish educational and personal career goals. Isis was selected as one of 144 cadets from among 277,000 Junior ROTC cadets to participate in the George Marshall Leadership Symposium in Lexington, Virginia.



In addition to being an exceptional student, being involved with ROTC, Isis still finds time to give back to the community. She volunteers in several community projects and is always looking for a way to make a difference in the life of someone. She plans to attend University of South Florida in the fall to major in psychology.

Other scholarship recipients were Milena Arza Duran - The LaPalma and Palm Beach Post Scholarship, Venezza Valencia - The Fidelity Federal Bank and Trust Scholarship, Merly Diaz - The Luciano Martinez Triunfo Scholarship, Vanessa Botero - The Lucian Martinez Triunfo Scholarship and Steven Avila - The De Guardiola Properties Scholarship.
