Mr Bratton says:

's8220;The car pinned me against my van. The driver then drove off although my colleague and I caught up with him down the road. I was taken to Eastbourne hospital where I was X-rayed. I suffered bruising to the left side of the body, hand, knee, back, hip and ribs. I was off work for almost 3 weeks.'s8221;
