The Private Investigators and Security Professionals of WV held elections in May and the new officers assumed their duties at the August meeting. Newly elected president Jim Crowder had
this to say: 's8220;We's8217;re excited to carry on the good work that our predecessors have done. Our goals for the upcoming year include making our presence known, increasing our

The Association meets quarterly at the New River Community and Technical College in Summersville. However, plans are currently underway to change venue for the 2007 meetings. 's8220;This
Association exists for the benefit of the members,'s8221; Crowder said. 's8220;When the members voiced a desire to alternate meeting locations throughout the state, we took steps to make
that happen.'s8221; Tentative meeting sites include the Clarksburg/Morgantown area, Charleston area and Parkersburg area. One meeting per year will still be held in Summersville.
's8220;The people at the College have been great to us over the years. They's8217;ve always been very accommodating and we really appreciate all they's8217;ve done for the
Association,'s8221; said Crowder.
