Advocates to Salute Oklahomas Energy Industry at Centennial Event



Final preparations are being made by the Energy Advocates for their third of the four Centennial events by the Energy Advocates is "A Salute to Oklahoma's Energy Present." The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 13, at the Tulsa Petroleum Club. A reception will be at 5:00pm, followed by dinner at 6:00pm. Former Lt. Governor and current Congresswoman Mary Fallin will be the keynote speaker.

The awards are to be: Centennial Energy Advocates Lifetime Achievement Award: Sherman E. Smith Family; Centennial Energy Advocates Individual Award: Randy Eminger, Center for Energy and Economic Development; Centennial Corporate Energy Advocates Award: Tony Oil Company; Centennial Energy Advocates Heritage Award: Devon Energy Corporation; Centennial Energy Advocates Education Awards: Dr. Charles Mankin and the Oklahoma Geological Survey, National Association of Royalty Owners and the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission; Centennial Energy Advocates Association Award: American Association of Petroleum Geologists; Centennial Energy Advocates Community Leadership Individual Leadership Awards: Jose Freede and Myra Ward; Centennial Community Leadership Corporate: AEP/PSO.
