Renaissance Austin Hotel Completes Final Phase of $6 Million Renovation Guests to Indulge in New Level of Comfort



Guests of the Renaissance Austin Hotel will now experience a heightened level of luxury surroundings with the recently completed $6 million renovations. The changes lend to a more high-tech and high-touch feel for guests of the authentic and upscale Austin hotel.

The hotel completed renovations of the lobby area, restaurant, ballroom, guest rooms, meeting rooms, Club Level and Presidential Suite over the past two years.

All 492 guest rooms received a completely new bedding package including 300-thread count sheets, down comforters, plush new duvet covers and pillow top mattresses. The new package also offers thicker, more comfortable pillow top mattresses and piles of pillows. The stylized bedding is accented with Euro square pillow shams and a decorative bed scarf.

Other changes to the luxury hotel in Austin include the creation of a new upscale Internet café which is now open -- @ustinbytes, renovation and addition of new space and equipment to the fitness center, and the complete rework of the 30,000 square foot exhibit hall.

Changes to the fitness center included an increase in size with new paint, carpet, and lighting, new state-of-the-art equipment, wood flooring and an additional fitness machines which include individual television panels.

The expansive 30,000 square foot exhibit hall was totally revamped in new colors, lighting, carpet and wall vinyl. A divider wall was also added so that the hall could be divided into two separate sections providing further flexibility for meetings and conventions. Wireless Internet service is also available in the public areas, meeting rooms and guest rooms of the hotel .
