April 24, 2005 -- April-Roddy Tree Ranch in Texas Hill Country is proud to announce they host family reunions. Staying at the Ranch does not include lumpy pillows, scary bathroom floors, four walls and a key, and nothing to do. The ranch is sprinkled with private cottages that encompass the charm of Texas, epitomize comfort, and is filled with many adventures for people of all ages.

A family reunion can be a stressful and sometimes dreaded vacation for some. The Asbury's has the experience and expertise to make your family reunion one to remember. "We have many families that have been having small and large family reunions here every year; some are coming up on their 7th year," said Gretchen Asbury, co-owner with her husband Keith. The Asbury's said they can host families of 80-100 people. There is definitely a reason people keep coming back to the ranch.

At Roddy Tree there are activities for everyone. Relaxing in your private cottage surrounded by rolling hills, flowers, and magnificent trees can make for a perfect day. Others might enjoy a nature walk, or a relaxing afternoon fishing in the pond. Worried about your kids The 50 acre ranch has a volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, horseshoes, horses, a petting zoo and washers, to name a few. If that does not suit their needs, nothing will do it like water! The property has 800 feet of access to the Guadalupe River so your kids can fish, use paddle boats, canoe, swim in the river or in the pools. There comes a time during a reunion when all in the bunch stop their individual activities and group together. Roddy Tree Ranch has a huge covered pavilion with a juke box for dancing and karaoke which can make for some memorable embarrassing moments.
