Cruise Networkcom Announces Winners in Ultimate Mothers Day Carnival...

Coming from all different backgrounds and from every corner of the country, each of these 10 amazing women is extraordinary in her own way. The one thing they all have in common though is the fact that through selfless dedication, unrelenting will, and undying love, they have each deeply touched and forever changed the life of someone else.



Cruise Network decided to hold the contest in memory of an inspirational member of their own family. As president and CEO of Cruise Network Jai George fondly recalls, it was his very own grandmother, Theresa, who made an everlasting impact on his life.



"When my father was only eight years old, my grandfather became very ill. Suddenly, my grandmother, who had never worked a real job in her life, was solely responsible for providing for her entire family. She worked long, tiresome days at two factory jobs. It was hard work, but she never complained, doing whatever she had to do to provide for her sonmy father, Mr. Lonen George."



Lonen George is actually the youngest of 10 children. Tragically, all nine of his older siblings passed away...the result of a devastating plague that swept across parts Europe during the early 20th Century.



Jai continues..."Even after my father completed engineering school and could give my grandmother anything she wanted, she never asked for anything. She knew she had already been given the greatest gift a mother could ever receive, seeing her son living the life she always dreamed he would have. Sadly, my grandmother has now passed awayand though she is greatly missed, her memory still lives on, as each and every day my family and I continue to live out her dream...the incredible life that she so selflessly created for us."



Theresa spent virtually her entire life ensuring those around her felt happy and loved, and certainly never asked for anything in return. She never even had the chance to take a vacationof any kind, something she most undoubtedly deserved.



In loving memory of Theresa and all she did for everyone she touched during her incredible life, Cruise Network wanted to give others from around the country the opportunity to say thank you in a very big way to special mothers in their own lives.
