Good Morning Americas Robin Roberts Says Livn Out Loud Tees One of Her Favorite Gifts



When Alyson Bruu and Kristine Fichera, Co-Founders of Liv'n Out Loud! Clothing Company learned of Robin Robert's breast cancer diagnosis, they immediately packaged up several of their inspirational tees, along with a hand-written note, letting Robin know how much she was admired, thought about and prayed for. Among the Lifestyle Tees sent to Good Morning America's NYC studios were "Bring it on", "Hey cancer you picked the wrong broad", "Adversity doesn't build character, it reveals it" and "Blest".

A week later...the phone rang. The call that every small company only hopes for; the one that yields that long sought after National exposure.

"Hi, this is Robin Roberts calling from Good Morning America and I would like to personally thank you for the incredible T-shirts that you sent me."

Alyson was lucky enough to answer this incoming call - since Kristine had the distinct pleasure of answering the phone the day Helen Mirren personally called to order 6 Lifestyle Tees. Said Bruu, "Talking to Robin was like talking to an old school chum. She was so lovely. So gracious. So every-woman. We talked about her health, her work, our company and how it got started, our tees and the blessings in our lives, both big and small. It was a phone call that I will never forget".

Liv'n Out Loud! clearly had a lasting impact on Roberts as well...

"Ten days later Robin's producer called Liv'n Out Loud! letting us know that we were going to be featured in a segment called "Robin's Favorite Gifts from Viewers", said Fichera. "This was the day that we had waited for! National exposure! And to be given such laudatory praise by someone of Robin Robert's caliber. A dream come true..."

On Friday, October 19th, at 7:48am, Robin Roberts, alongside her fellow co-anchors, featured a colorful selection of 100% cotton Tees from the Liv'n Out Loud! Lifestyle Collection. "These tee shirts are so comfy and they have these really MMMMMPH! sayings on them! There is one that I wear when I head out to chemo and it says "Bring it on". Feel how soft they are..." as she handed the Tees to her co-workers.
