Introducing your own Custom Designed Jewelry

Most people at some point have the joy of giving or receiving jewelry for those special moments in life. The buyer usually goes to a store or looks online and begins the process of picking from the same selection everyone else is picking from, not thinking that they are giving their loved one just a replica of another ring; that will most likely be worn by someone else. They are not giving them that one of a kind design that is solely made for them, with their taste and character in mind. Sure, it could be close to their taste and something they will probably like, but it is not specifically made for them, exactly how they would want it; with more sentiment. Think how wonderful someone would feel if they knew there was a piece of jewelry designed and made specifically for them.

Others have looked at piece after piece of jewelry and have decided that they want part of this one and part of that one and if this could just look a little more like this and can I change this or add that. They want their own, exclusive design and can't imagine being able to find a way to first design it and then find someone to produce it. For most, it seems like a luxury they cannot afford or that they can't find the resources to have it done.

Well now there is a custom manufacturing solution. B Mor, in Newport Beach, California has found a way to help its authorized dealers reach out and help these individuals have their custom designed and produced jewelry. One could walk into an authorized B Mor dealer and talk to someone about having a custom design made for them and then have it produced also.

Jewelry designer, Tony Zayas has been on the B.Mor team for years, behind the scenes in their factory and now in their office for a hands on relationship with all retailers and creating beautiful, unique pieces of jewelry. When retailers trust and depend on B Mor for great service and quality jewelry, they also trust and depend on Tony and his work.

From a very young age Tony was involved in the creative process. He was born in Lantshul, Germany to two very creative parents who designed and produced saddles.

As a child, he would watch his parents fabricate these amazing saddles with beautiful, intricate designs and outstanding craftsmanship. He says that he learned art and symmetry from his parents and would be able to help them as a toddler; "I had the eye and talent for it since I was 5." Tony would sit in class with them and absorb information, not realizing what it would lead to someday.

Tony started working with his parents part time while in college and while pursuing baseball. After dislocating his shoulder and not being able to play anymore, he continued to work for his parents full time and really got involved in the creative process from design, to tooling, to silver, to saddles. His mother is known as one of the best in tooling and he had the privilege to design for her as well.

After his parents decided to retire he started working in a jewelry store in Huntington Beach and started his professional career as a jewelry designer in 1995. At this point he realized how much of what he learned transferred into jewelry design and how talented he really was. Tony is dedicated to seeing a project through before he even starts. He has the amazing talent of being able to actually create the exact concept from when it was first thought. Many people can think of a design but cannot produce it the way they envisioned it and with the functionality it needs. This has actually become Tony's strength and what B Mor and their clients appreciate about him. "Being a craftsman goes hand in hand with being an artist", says Zayas. There is no part of any of his pieces that go without attention and detail- every facet is tended to.

Tony is dedicated to building relationships and meeting their needs through designing and producing amazing jewelry. He appreciates that B Mor has these same values and that they respect his talent and ability as an artist and craftsman. A highlight for him has been the fact that he has gained the respect of others in the industry through the years based on his knowledge and character and wants to continue to build that trust.

B Mor saw how dedicated and talented Zayas was and decided that they wanted to offer this to their clients. They continue to find new ways to support their authorized retailers and in turn their clients. "There is so much joy in knowing we are able to make their vision become a reality." Mor says. Now this luxury is offered to the public. To find out more about having something designed and produced for you and only you or for someone special in your life, walk into an authorized B Mor dealer and talk to a representative about custom manufacturing with B Mor jewelry.
