Leo Booth Popular Author and Addiction Recovery Expert to Speak at Unity of Phoenix



June 24, 2005 -- Popular author, motivator and addiction recovery expert Rev. Leo Booth will speak at all July 24 Unity of Phoenix Sunday morning worship services (8:15, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.) with a message of "Divine Change," and will also present a workshop titled "Dancing in God" on Monday, July 25, at 7 p.m. All events will take place at the Unity of Phoenix Family Life Center, located at 1500 E. Greenway Parkway in Phoenix. There is no fee for attending the events, but love offerings (donations) are encouraged and welcome.
   
"Dancing in God" offers a new way to relate to God, understand ourselves and live powerfully. Using popular dances as analogies, Rev. Leo will show the steps, decisions and intentions that people can make to produce a change in their lives and give them new direction when they make the decision to dance rather than slouch. Participants will learn the steps to co-creation, overcoming fear and building healthier relationships.
   
Rev. Leo contributes regularly to newspapers across the United States and is the author of 10 publications, including When God Becomes a Drug, The Wisdom of Letting Go and Pearl in the Rice. Rev. Leo has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Geraldo, Sally Jesse Raphael and Good Morning America.
   
Rev. Leo Booth is a Unity minister and internationally acclaimed author, lecturer and trainer on all aspects of spirituality and recovery from depression, addictions, compulsive behaviors and low self-esteem. He is a certified addictions counselor and eating disorders counselor, as well as an approved education provider for NAADAC, the association for counselors who specialize in addictive behavior.
