A Cappella Quartets Bring Delight to Sweethearts with Singing Valentines

For eight years, the Westchester Chordsmen have been surprising and delighting local recipients with the gift of love songs. Clad in black tuxedos with red bowties and vests, quartets travel to homes, offices and restaurants to personally deliver Singing Valentines to sweethearts on February 13 and 14 throughout Westchester, Lower Putnam, Rockland and Western Fairfield Counties. Whether it's a crush, a new relationship or a 25 year marriage, a Singing Valentine from the Chordsmen is always an unforgettable gift.

Each Valentine's Day, the Chordsmen set up "Command Central" at a top-secret location in White Plains where they field calls and prep their voices for four-part, a cappella harmony singing. At "Command Central," the men house their laptops, GPS systems and cell phones, which help to guide them through a long day of delivering musical tidings to surprised lovers and loved ones.

"We'll go wherever romance abounds," says Alan Ferris, Chordsmen resident Cupid "If you want us to sing for your fianc at the restaurant where you proposed, we'll be there. If your husband can't escape from his office, we'll bring Valentine's Day to him. Through the years, we've sung for loved ones in homes, hospitals, stores, just about anywhere you can think of."

A Singing Valentine includes a long-stemmed rose and a romantic Valentine card, which can be redeemed for two free tickets to the Chordsmen annual show on April 12th (a value of $50).

For reservations call 800-413-7153 or visit www.chordsmen.org. Prices range from $80 to $95.
