Artocracy.org (www.artocracy.org) is pleased to announce that it has sixty-one artists selling digital and downloadable prints on the Internet. Artocracy is pleased to announce four new
artists to the website: Blaz Erzetic from Slovenia, Erick Martinez from California, Gautam Narang from London, and Jacklyn Soo from Singapore.
Blaz Erzetic works in digital manipulations of time machines. His work on Artocracy focuses on machines. He is interested in contemporary cultures addiction to "ballast technology, the
one without an applicable value." Erick Martinez works in studies of flowers from multiple perspectives, to examine what is easily over looked. Gautam Narang works in photography,
focusing on details. He studies people in everyday situations and captures subtle nuances of beauty. Jacklyn Soo is an installation artist, painter, and photographer. Her work for
Artocracy is a series of blue tinted angelic images of herself moving through different spaces, capturing moments of doubt, happiness, questioning, and beauty.
Artocracy began offering downloadable artworks one year ago with fifteen artists. Over the past year it has now grown to over sixty-one artists. Not only can people download the work, but
they can order printed or printed and framed through our partnership with Pictopia. The website currently receives numerous submissions each month, only accepting 10% of the work. The
work is chosen through a balance of content, education, and imagery.
All of the artists have to be working artists, currently showing their one of a kind pieces in galleries or exhibition spaces. The prints they make for Artocracy are only available on the
Artocracy website and they are not reproductions of one of a kind pieces.
Artocracy works to support visual artists through the sale of digital and downloadable prints. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds go to benefit the working artist to support their one
of a kind pieces.

About Artocracy:
Artocracy.org was founded in January of 2005 by Megan Murphy to support visual artists. We would like to see artists have the freedom to dedicate more of their time to cultivating their
work rather than working several jobs. We realize that a digital print is not a one of a kind artwork; they are not meant to be. These prints are to bring challenging ideas, innovative
artworks, and people together. Artocracy is about the freedom to buy or sell art without financial constraints. Artocracy is pro artist.
