Its Magic Vallejo Garden Tour 2007

It'ss Magic! is the theme of the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum'ss 2007 Garden Tour. The tour will be held on Sunday, May 20th from 10:00 to 4:00 and will feature the very best of Vallejo'ss beautiful and diverse gardens and landscapes. The tour is a joint project between the Museum and the Vallejo Beautification Advisory Commission.



Garden Tour chairperson Joyce Venturini and her hard working committee have discovered new and interesting gardens throughout Vallejo and they promise a magic mix of fragrant gardens, colorful gardens, contemplative gardens, traditional gardens, and some different and unusual landscape designs. The tour will include seven private gardens and several drive-by points of horticultural interest, including Vallejo'ss Community Rose Garden, historic City Park, and others. Tour participants who wish to take a break during the day can stop by the Museum for refreshments anytime between 12:00 and 4:00 on the afternoon of the tour.



Tickets available NOW for the 2007 Garden Tour are $25 for the general public and $20 for Museum members and are available at the Museum Bookshop, 734 Marin Street and at Zoey June Gifts, Garden & Antiques 1426 Tennessee Street, Vallejo.
