Segway Orange County is Named TopSelling Dealer in North America for...

Segway Inc. has recognized Segway Orange as the top-selling dealer of Segway® Personal Transporters (PTs) in North America for the first quarter of 2007. There are more than 120 Segway Authorized dealers in North America.



Segway Orange County (www.segwayoc.com) is a full-service dealership providing sales and service, parts and accessories, and guided tours, with locations in Anaheim and Newport Beach.



Co-owners Jim Headley and Dick Burke attribute the success of their dealership to the outstanding engineering and reliability of the Segway Personal Transporter, their knowledgeable and passionate employees and customers, and the ability to 's8220;glide's8221; on a Segway PT virtually year-round in Southern California. The introduction late last year of the second generation Segway PT has also been very well received.



The newest models feature breakthrough LeanSteer's8482; technology and a wireless InfoKey's8482; controller that enhance the Segway experience by making the ride even more intuitive and adding new and useful functions. The line includes the versatile Segway i2, a cross-terrain model called the Segway x2, the Segway x2 Golf model, and several product packages tailored to specific commercial and consumer market segments and riding environments.



Segway Orange County customers include students, commuters, businesses, warehouses, security companies, police agencies, and many others's8212;even people who simply enjoy fun, smart transportation. The use of the Segway PT for community policing applications has made it even more visible among the public.



Jim and Dick are also pleased with the popularity of the Segway PT guided tours that operate from their Newport Beach location, serving individuals as well as a growing number of commercial clients.
