Worldlabel.com Inc, a manufacturer and leading online supplier of laser and inkjet computer printer labels, is pleased and honored to announce that wWorldlabel is supporting the development, manufacturing and distribution of the Creative Commons LiveContent CD. LiveContent is a project to connect and expand Creative Commons and open source communities. The first output of LiveContent will package free and open source software (FOSS) with CC-licensed content, including audio, video, image, text and educational resources. LiveContent comes with a live-boot Fedora 7 operating system. The Fedora project is a Red Hat-sponsored, community-based open source collaboration that provides the best of next-generation open source technologies. The Fedora 7 operating system boots directly from the LiveContent CD, making use of the open source tools found in the latest Fedora distribution like Revisor, Pungi and more. Fedora 7 can be a vehicle for institutions and corporations to create customized desktops that can fit their individual needs. Corporations can market their products by branding their own CD and distributing a free operating system with free applications and their own appliances included to keep a captive audience.
