Greenplum Delivers PetabyteScale Analytics for EMC CLARiiON Environments

Greenplum (http://www.greenplum.com/), a leading provider of database software for the next generation of data warehousing and analytics, today announced that Greenplum Database (http://www.greenplum.com/products/greenplum-database/) is a part of the EMC's174; Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence/Analytics Competency Center, strengthening its support for EMC CLARiiON's174; and EMC Symmetrix's174; networked storage systems environments. Greenplum plans to engage with EMC in co-engineering to provide optimized storage area network (SAN) solutions that addresses emerging challenges related to data warehouse and business intelligence deployments. Mutual Greenplum and EMC customers include large retail organizations and global telecommunications providers.
