"Lewisham is committed to enabling local people to raise their issues and have their voices heard. We are pleased to have been part of this project ( National e-Democracy Project) and anticipate that, by broadcasting meetings on the internet (webcasting) - will help make the democratic and representative process more open, transparent and accessible." Said Simon Berlin, Head of e-government for Lewisham.

'Webcasting is an ideal medium for reaching a high number of people and giving them the opportunity to feed back. We've enjoyed faciliating e-democracy in partnership with Lewisham Council, and look forward to continuing this process." Said Duncan Burbidge, Stream UK Business Development Manager.
