A Better Tripp Moving and Storage recently announced the acquisition of a new 2008 International Eagle air-ride truck. The 28-footer is about half the size of a normal 18-wheeler and can move into tighter spaces than its larger counterparts making for a more efficient move.

With summer quickly approaching, the company knows that vacation-goers still want the same amenities they have at home. With its 40,000-lb weight capacity, the new truck is equipped to move an entire house-load to a new vacation home, yet its ride is smooth enough to safely accommodate a single piece like a piano, motorcycle, or barbecue pit. "The air-ride suspension is so smooth, you could put a cup of water in the bed while the truck is moving, and it won't spill over," said Operations Director Jack Summers.

The truck, intended solely for cross-country moves, is equipped with a dual-bunk sleeper cabin so that a team of two drivers can safely and efficiently transport shipments across the nation. "The sleeper cabin makes a good addition to the truck because one driver can sleep while the other one drives, and our team doesn't have to make any unnecessary stops along the way," said Owner David Tripp.

A Better Tripp has established itself as an industry leader in moving small shipments including e-bay items, pianos, antiques, and motorcycles. The company's good reputation and smaller trucks have made A Better Tripp a preferred mover over large van lines that can't accommodate small intra- or interstate moves.
