A new COMBO has been launched by Arlington Packaging. Adding a dropside door and sight glass makes it easier to fill and to check the contents level of the container. These new
developments represent the result of £0.5 million investment.
The new COMBO has all the advantages of the existing container: high hygiene, foldable for return efficiency and made from food approved plastic. However, these enhancements address
issues raised by users since the COMBO'ss launch in 2003.
Inserting the liner bag and making it ready to fill will be easier with the dropside door. Opening the door reduces the height of the container'ss side. This makes it easier for the user
to access the liner, saving time and reducing wastage. The advantage of the sight glass, with five viewing holes, is that the user is able to see the level of the container'ss contents,
and when the liner bag needs refilling.
Harry Fairbank, Managing Director of Arlington Packaging commented, The COMBO is the result of years of research into a system that offered exceptional hygienic performance and reduced
costs per trip compared to existing systems. The new drop-side door and sight glass provide easier use and greater efficiency. Both the COMBO and the liner are available through us, as a
complete liquids handling solution.
In addition to the Drop Side COMBO, Arlington has also launched the COMBOLife 270, otherwise known as the 'sReefer's box. This has been manufactured specifically to carry 1000 litres of
liquid in a chilled shipping container or lorry. It is ideal for storing refrigerated produce such as fruit juice and dairy products.
