Multi Spindle Machines Manufacturer Sets Sales Record

Two months ago, Wickman USA opened its doors in Illinois and since that time, the Illinois office has already achieved record sales.

We are very proud of the success our Illinois office has had, said Owen Coyne, CEO of Wickman Group. While the strengthening of the dollar against the British pound may have played a role, we believe that the improved level of sales is primarily due to the quality of customer service the Illinois staff offers.

For example, in just two months Wickman USA office has sold and installed two new multi spindle screw machines (http://www.wickman-group.com/multi-spindle-machines/). Both customers have told us how happy they are with the improved productivity and efficiency of the machines, Coyne said. They have also expressed a high level of satisfaction with the professionalism and knowledge of the Wickman engineers.

Wickman USA has also experienced a large demand for Preventative Maintenance contracts and service. Preventative Maintenance contracts are programs that Wickman USA offers to handle routine maintenance and repairs on Wickman multi spindle machines. As a result of the high demand for these contracts, the parent company has had to transfer another Wickman engineer to the Illinois office.

Finally, in the past two months Wickman USA has also received increased orders for spare parts for multispindle (http://www.wickman-group.com/) machines.

Wickman USA is the North American branch of Wickman Group, a European manufacturer and supplier of multi spindle machines. Until Wickman USA was launched, the Wickman Group was forced to rely on distributors to serve their North American customers. Earlier this year, the Wickman Group made the decision to cut out the middle man and launch a North American branch of the company.

The incredible success the Illinois office has met with so far demonstrates that we were right on with our decision to start Wickman USA, Coyne said. Our North American customers needed the convenience and security of dealing directly with the manufacturer.
