Auburn Engineering Teams with Parent Company Dynetics in Successful Design Prototype and Production Process



Auburn Engineering, Inc., leading provider of rapid prototyping and production services, recently teamed with parent company Dynetics (Huntsville, Alabama) to provide Moving Technology Forward, Inc. with an effective prototype design, prototype build, and production process. Auburn helped simplify design, reduce costs of producing injection molds, and production molding of the Erase-O-Matic -- an innovative magnetic media eraser that helps protect privacy and prevent identity theft by destroying obsolete data. With Auburn's help, the Erase-O-Matic is now available and affordable for commercial, individual and family use.

Auburn Engineering and Dynetics worked with the inventor to take the innovation from an idea to a producible prototype and actual production piece The team worked together to not only design for functionality, but also minimize the number of parts, reduce complexity, insure quality, reliability, ease of production, styling, and assembly.
