EXAIR Introduces New 48 Super Air Knife Drying System

The days of having to use multiple air knives across a wide surface are gone. EXAIR's new 483 Super Air Knife offers an efficient way to clean, dry or cool parts across wide conveyors and webs using compressed air. At 80 PSIG, the sound level is extremely quiet, 69 dBA, a noise level 11 times quieter than ordinary blowoffs.

The Super Air Knife directs the compressed airflow to a precise, slotted orifice. It creates a uniform sheet of air across the entire length that immediately pulls in surrounding room air. Air amplification ratios (entrained air to compressed air) of 40:1 are produced. The air savings is 63% when compared to typical blowoffs.

Compressed air inlets are provided on each end and the bottom of the Super Air Knife for easy mounting. Multiple units can be mounted end to end without dead spots. An optional universal mounting system provides secure, precise positioning. Many lengths from 33 to 483 (76mm-1219mm) are available from stock in aluminum or stainless steel.
