Minitab Congratulated 2008 Process Excellence Winners



The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) recently announced the winners of the 2008 Process Excellence Awards, which recognize and promote Six Sigma and quality improvement projects that demonstrate true best practices and to expand and increase the application of Six Sigma globally.

Minitab Inc. congratulates this year's winning companies, all of whom use Minitab Statistical Software, the company's flagship product, to increase profits and raise the standard of goods and services they offer. Minitab has been used to analyze data in virtually every major Six Sigma quality improvement initiative worldwide.

This year's Process Excellence Awards were presented during a ceremony at the IQPC Lean Six Sigma and Process Improvement Summit. More than 600 quality improvement professionals from across North America attended the event, held at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Fl.

Minitab sponsored the Process Excellence Award for Best Process Improvement in Manufacturing, which IQPC judges awarded to Delphi E&S/DEG for the project "Process Optimization to Improve Product Robustness."
