Kors Engineering and Garr Electric Combine to Provide TechnicalSolution...

Kors Engineering, a premier service provider for manufacturing and industrial organizations, today announced that in conjunction with Garr Electric, Alma Machinery now has approximately doubled the expected output of one of its machine presses to 37 SPM (strokes per minute).

Alma Machinery, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has the nation'ss largest inventory of high quality, reconditioned used presses. One of its customer required that the manual single stroke press be converted to an automated press. Kors Engineering, working with Garr Electric, was able to exceed output expectations from Alma Machinery and its customer.

Working with Kors Engineering we were able to convert this press and achieve an impressive 37 strokes per minute, said Duane Feys of Garr Electric. This improved output illustrates how reconditioned machine presses can be engineered to deliver high-quality production options to manufacturers in a very cost-effective fashion.

This is a tremendous example of how leveraging technology can help manufacturers work more efficiently and achieve profitability targets, stated Kors Engineering President Tony Kaczmarek.
