Delta Wave Introduces Iridium DirectCall



Delta Wave Communications has just introduced Iridium DirectCall service. Rather than dial the international number associated with Iridium satellite phones, the service makes it possible to dial a domestic U.S. number or 866 number to reach any Iridium phone subscriber, regardless of their location. PIN code restrictions are optional.

Says Tom Clark, president and CEO of Delta Wave, We initiated this service as a result of complaints by Iridium airtime customers who related their frustrations when it came to calling their personnel in remote locations. Not all long distance carriers allow dialing to the Iridium country code. Dialing 15 digits added to their frustrations, especially for those prone to misdialing after the 10th digit, for example. The key benefit is that is also much less expensive than calling through any long distance provider. As a side benefit, subscribers to this service will be able to contact Iridium Satellite subscribers from virtually any location without burden. We are proud to offer this service which eases the pain when it comes to placing calls to Iridium Satellite phone subscribers.

Delta Wave'ss Direct Call is now available to any existing Iridium Satellite Service subscriber, whether they are signed on with Delta Wave, or any other service provider.
