The award will be presented at NDIA's Annual Dinner, Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Va.

This will be the first time a representative of the United States Coast Guard will be presented the prestigious NDIA Eisenhower Award since its inception in 1979. Previous awardees include: Ambassador Jeanne J. Kirkpatrick, General Richard B. Myers, USAF, General Colin L. Powell, USA, and The Honorable Caspar W. Weinberger.
