Aqualand Marina Staff Excited About Elevated Water Levels

Aqualand, the world'ss largest inland marina, and one of seven facilities under the Flagship Marinas brand, lies on the shores of Lake Sydney Lanier, a manmade reservoir that supplies much of the water used by Atlantans. The facility, nestled in the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, offers an array of world-class services and amenities, and draws a large percentage of its membership from nearby Atlanta.

Marina staff have expressed great excitement that an historic and well-publicized three-year drought that has descended on the Atlanta area is showing signs of relenting. Lake Lanier'ss water level has risen by an encouraging six to seven feet in the last week, and though it'ss still roughly nine feet shy of its average level, all hands are hopeful rain will continue and the level will continue to rise toward full pool.
