Stena Line Announce Participation in National Ferry Fortnight

Stena Line, the European ferry operator, has announced its participation in the Passenger Shipping Association'ss (PSA) National Ferry Fortnight.

Stena Line (http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry) will offer huge discounts on ferry journeys to Holland during the fortnight, with some rates costing less than ten pounds per person.

The fortnight is aimed at encouraging new people to consider taking a ferry holiday. It will feature deals from the PSA'ss sail and drive members, announcements of new routes and itineraries and the unveiling of the latest statistics and trends in ferry travel.

Over 36 million passengers's journeys are made by ferry every year and 's163;1 billion of investment is planned for new services and ships between now and 2011.

In conjunction with the National Ferry Fortnight, journeys on Stena Lines Harwich - Hook of Holland (http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/routes/harwich-holland/national-ferry-fortnight/) route will be available to book at a special discounted rate.

The PSA'ss National Ferry Fortnight initiative follows last year'ss national cruise week organised by the PSA cruise trade arm, the Association of Cruise Experts.
