Blueforce Development Corporation has announced the availability of their first product, Blueforce Crawler 2009. Available now and offered as a public beta release, Blueforce Crawler is a software tool that crawls one or more targeted RSS newsfeeds and monitors the sites based on search criteria provided by the user. The Crawler can be run manually, or, on a periodic schedule. Output from each run is published as an RSS feed that can be monitored by one person, or many.
The internet provides unfettered and unprecedented access to information. The sheer volume makes the finding of perishable information somewhat challenging, said Michael Helfrich, founder
and CEO of Blueforce. Blueforce Crawler makes the task of assembling open source intelligence or business intelligence much easier, and puts the power of intelligent collection of
critical information in the hands of the user.
Public Beta Now Available
The product is now available through a public beta test from Blueforce'ss web site at Blueforce Webcrawler Public Beta Page (http://www.blueforcedev.com/crawler.html). General product release is expected within the next 90 days.
Founded in 2005, Blueforce Development Corporation is an emerging leader in software for open source intelligence, information sharing, and sensor networking.
