Nick Lowe, 23 year old Kiwi entrepreneur wants to raise $1 million in funds by offering the opportunity to have restricted access to his online bank account for $500, so the money raised would be used to buy $1 million worth of Pumpkin Patch Ltd shares on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.
Lowe says entrepreneurs are business minded people who are willing to take high risks just to be successful.
Lowe who is a design student from Christchurch, New Zealand, says opening his online bank account to the public to raise funds is a high risk he'ss willing to take, but the money raised
will be used to buy shares in children'ss retail clothing company, Pumpkin Patch Ltd, on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. People who participate in this venture don'st have any ownership
to the bank account but will have limited time, restricted access to it, says Lowe.
Despite the economic downturn, Lowe already holds 260 shares in the retail company. I'sm committed to increase my holding to a value of $1 million even though knowing the prospect that I
might or will loose money in the near future, he explained.
Lowe setup pumpkinshares.blogspot.com so he can keep everyone updated on the progress to acquire $1 million worth of shares. Success doesn'st happen overnight, but with the right
intensions and the desire to succeed, anything is possible, Lowe said.
A great New Zealander, Sir Edmund Hillary, once said, You don'st have to be a fantastic hero to do certain things. You can be just an ordinary chap, sufficiently motivated to reach
challenging goals.
