We at Kents Taekwondo Will also be Raising Money for Project Action to Fight Juvenile Crime and Keep Children out of Gangs and We Need Your Help

April 30, 2005 -- Dear Community Business Leader,
On Saturday, May 21, 2005, thousands of Martial artists across the United States will be attempting to shatter a World Record for the most breaks performed simultaneously nationwide.

They we will also be raising money for Project Action to fight juvenile crime and keep children out of gangs and we need your help.

Project Action Foundation is a national award-winning children's charity whose mission is to prevent juvenile crime by providing disadvantaged and "at risk" children the opportunity to become involved in physical and cultural arts programs, working with martial arts, dance and gymnastics schools.

The program these schools offer are uniquely suited for the personal development of children but are often times out of reach to our target group, socially and economically deprived children. The children we help are taught such values as respect, discipline, courage and integrity while learning goal setting skills and developing a positive work ethic.

We are asking you along with local corporations and businesses to take a stand against juvenile crime by donating.

Your tax-deductible donation in support of this event will help needy children.

Please make your tax deductible check payable to Project Action Foundation and be sure to tell them that it is for Kent's Taekwondo Academy. or you may send it to Harold Kent, 6500 Princeton Woods Dr S Mobile Al. 36618 and still make Check Payable to Project Action Foundation. You may also send it direct to Project Action Foundation, Inc. P.O. Drawer 3420, Seminole, Fl 33775 Phone (727) FOR KIDS (367-5437) www.projectaction.com

Why Help Project Action

Negative peer pressure and gangs are leading cause of juvenile crime in this country today.

Money generated in your community helps children in your community.

Project Action is dedicated to placing "at risk" children into positive programs and surrounding the with achievement oriented peers.

Project Action closely monitors the children's progress by checking report cards and behavior to make sure they are improving through the program.

Law enforcement and school counselors refer most Project Action children and many have shown remarkable turnarounds.

Project Action gives children in bad circumstances new opportunities to bring positive influences into their lives and supported entirely by community based fundraisers, which means. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

My classes are held at 1644 Wolf Ridge Rd behind Hope Chapel Church, this is also where the Breakathon will be held at 1200 noon May 21st

If you make a donation please email me at e-mail protected from spam bots

You may also call Harold Kent at (251) 344-7233 if you have any questions about your donation. Thanks, Harold Kent
