Jake Ashcraft Offers Sacred Warriorship Training in Northern Kentucky

Jake Ashcraft, author of Yeshua As He Is and martial artist of over 20 years has developed a radical new martial arts program for Christians in Northern Kentucky. The program is called Sacred Warriorship Training. The program consists of martial training in the art of Sakushin ryu Kobudo and spiritual training in the mystical Christian tradition. Students are required to volunteer in their communities in a wide variety of ways including working in soup kitchens, drop in shelters, etc. Key components of the training include Bible study, prayer, meditation, and the challenge to live out the lessons in daily life. Our motto is Living with purpose, on purpose., Ashcraft says. We'sre not about religion. We'sre about spirituality in action. Most people live their whole lives never waking up to the realities of the spiritual world and their implications in the real every day world. Our training program is here for those who do or who want to wake up to that. Sacred Warriorship implies peaceful, cooperative and compassionate action and awareness. We seek to achieve shinshin shingan, the mind and eyes of God.



Ashcraft holds a black belt in Tenshin Koga ryu, is a student of Budo Taijutsu and Aikido. He has traveled across the country giving inspirational talks to teens in schools, churches and juvenile detention centers. He is a certified Family Educator and ordained minister, and has appeared on radio, television and in a wide variety of print media. He is the founder of the Bushokan Sakushin Dojo in Ludlow, Kentucky.
