Tengiz Tedoradze and Tom Blackledge To Headline Cagewarriors Ultimate...



The Cagewarriors Fighting Championships along with Ultimate Force promoter Paul Murphy are proud to announce the first exciting bout for Cagewarriors Ultimate Force 2 in Doncaster. As on October 15th Tengiz Tedoradze will battle it out against Tom Blackledge in what should be an exciting Heavyweight contest.



Tengiz Tedoradze 14-5-0 is a former Greco-Roman World Champion and the former CWFC Heavyweight Champion. Tedoradze, who is managed by Ultimate Force promoter Paul Murphy, recently scored a huge stoppage win over the highly rated North East star Robert "Buzz" Berry at Goshin Ryu 13 in July. This convincing win ended 3 straight losses for the "Barnsley Gladiator" against the likes of Jeff Monson and Antonio Silva Junior.



Tengiz will now be looking to regain his status as Britain's number 1 Heavyweight on October 15th at the Doncaster Dome where a local crowd will be in attendance as he attempts to climb the rankings once more.



Tom Blackledge 4-2-0 (Wolfslair Academy) is in the midst of a 3 fight wins streak and since moving up to Heavyweight and joining the Wolfslair Academy earlier this year has been in impressive form by winning his last 2 fights by submission against Kuljit Degun at Cage Rage 11 and more recently against Alan Murdoch at Cage Rage 12 in which he gave the burley striker a lesson in ground.



Blackledge is a seemingly versatile fighter who is comfortable both in stand-up and on the floor and can utilise a mix of powerful ground and pound and submission fighting. Although he may not have faced the same calibre of fighter as Tedoradze, Blackledge has the potential to a real force in the Heavyweight division and will look to continue the success the Wolfslair have had so far in 2005.



So will the experience of Tedoradze see him rise once again or will Blackledge's stop-start career finally take off with a win against the former champion On October 15th we will find out as Cagewarriors Ultimate Force 2 is resurrected at the Doncaster Dome.

The Cagewarriors Fighting Championship (CWFC) brand is one of the UK's leading professional mixed martial arts events and was established in the summer of 2002, by the CWFC President Dougie Truman.
