Dog Lovers Hit the Streets for Fox Chase Cancer Centers Annual Paws for the Cause Dog Walk



Pre-registration is now open for the Fox Chase Cancer Center'ss 8th Annual Paws for the Cause dog walk on Sunday, October 22, at 9:00 a.m., rain or shine. The event takes place on the Fox Chase Cancer Center campus, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia. Proceeds from this event will benefit cancer prevention programs at Fox Chase.

The website, www.foxchasegiving.org/paws, allows participants to register in advance and create a personal homepage for the one, two or three-mile walk. Registration will also be available the day of the event at 8:00 a.m. The registration fee is $10 per person and pledges are encouraged. Prizes will be given to the top pledge fundraiser.

Paws for the Cause is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family. The event features activities such as the dog-owner look-alike contest, the best tail-wagger wag-off and the amazing pet-tricks competition! Prizes will be given to the top winner in each contest.

Fox Chase also welcomes back honorary chairperson, George Mallet, of Fox 29'ss Good Day Philadelphia.
