What is Eating Distress
Eating Distress is a condition that effects people of all ages, gender and culture. The sufferer uses food obsession either through thoughts and/or behaviour to self harm which reinforces their negative mindset. Eating Distress is the negativity which fuels Eating Disorders.

Facts About Eating Distress:
-The person who weighs 4 stone has the same mindset as the person who weighs 30 stone.
-The number of boys who suffer from eating distress is equal to the number of girl sufferers.
-80% of sufferers experience suicide ideation (meaning they think of death as a solution).
-35% of sufferers attempt suicide in the course of their condition.
-40% of sufferers under the age of 18 years are in treatment for an eating disorder involuntarily.
-80% of sufferers over the age of 25 deal with their condition in secret.
-There is no quick fix but full recovery is possible.
