Both Mothers And Daughters Will Be Pampered For A Cause
May 5, 2005 -- Pamper Perfect Mobile Spa announced that they are teaming up with The Bethesda Clinic, Inc. for the 'Mom & Me' benefit campaign on Saturday, May 14, 2005, 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Boscov's Auditorium in Newark Delaware. Tickets are $25 for admittance of one mother and one child. Tickets may be purchased at Boscov's or by contacting the clinic at 302-266-0591. Guests will enjoy unique mini spa services, shopping, games, entertainment and just plain fun. All ages are invited to enjoy a day with mom for a great cause.
"Pamper Perfect Mobile Spa is continuing our community involvement and fundraising activities at this year's 'Mom and Me' event," says Tammy Butler, CEO Pamper Perfect Mobile Spa. "While guests are enjoying some of Pamper Perfect's rejuvenating spa services, they will be helping their community", said Tammy. The Bethesda Clinic, Inc. is a non-profit Christian community health care center newly founded to provide Christ centered care to youth of New Castle County Delaware and the surrounding areas. Scheduled to open in 2006, the Clinic's mission is to serve the medical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of underprivileged children and adolescence. Contributions through ticket sales and donations will be allocated as start up funds for a site where families can receive pediatric medical care, psychological counseling, spiritual counseling, and social services including a food bank and clothing closet.
"Many children today are faced with the multiple challenges," says Dr. Mack-Williams, President of The Bethesda Clinic. They confront medical problems such as asthma and obesity, which are growing at an alarming rate. Some are expected to endure the pressures of living in homes plagued by violence, divorce, and financial uncertainty. Many are quietly fighting depression and anxiety, which at times leads them to consider drugs or unhealthy sexual relationships to cope with the struggles of life that they face. "The Board of Directors of the clinic believe that we can counter these issues in a constructive way and offer hope through a Christian belief system that God is the ultimate restorer and healer of health. We need funding to establish these much needed programs. We are so excited to collaborate with Pamper Perfect on our very first fundraiser," stated Dr. Mack-Williams.
