TollFree Number Helps Seniors to Lower Health Costs

Now, senior citizens who do not have Internet access can order their branded and generic medications at the discounted prices available online by simply dialing a nationwide, 24-hour, toll-free helpline, 1-877-595-MEDS (6337).

Created by the non-profit organization, Drugs4seniors, Inc., the helpline allows seniors to order over 200 of the most popular prescription medications for treating such common conditions as; arthritis, blood pressure, cholesterol, sexual health, diabetes, depression, pain relief, digestive disorders, allergies, sleep disorders, asthma and more. The company charges no membership fee and clients save an average of 40 percent to 60 percent off the retail price. Orders are mailed directly to their homes in 7-14 business days.

According to helpline director, Bill Betz, 54 percent of seniors over 65 in the US do not own a computer or otherwise do not have internet access. "We are here to help the millions of senior citizens who are paying inflated prices for their medications simply because they do not have Internet access. Drugs4seniors is another step in helping all of our senior citizens, computer literate or not, lower their healthcare costs," he commented.

According to Betz, Drugs4seniors has served over 20,000 clients since last January with an additional 500 to 1,000 new clients calling each month. The helpline was originally available only on the West Coast, but due to the huge demand, it expanded nationwide in June.
