Clinical Hypnosis Workshops Offered By Healthy Visions Wellness Center Of Oak Ridge Tennessee



The Healthy Visions Wellness Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee announces its Clinical Hypnosis workshops this upcoming July 19th through the 24th. This six day series of workshops for medical professionals and lay people alike will cover Introduction to Hypnosis, HypnoBirthing as a Childbirth Method and HypnoAnesthesia in the Management of Chronic Pain.

The workshops being offered have been approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and provide 48 continuing education credits (CECs).

In 1958 the American Medical Association endorsed hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a legitimate treatment tool for pain, stress and relaxation management, weight loss, smoking cessation, childbirth, preparing for surgery, as well as overcoming fears of medical, dental and other hospital procedures.

As the owner and Director of The Healthy Visions Wellness Center, Mr. Ron Eslinger, CRNA, MA, BCH, CI says "these workshops are not only for medical professionals but the non-professional as well."As an example, the Introduction to Hypnosis workshop which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday is open to anyone interested in Hypnosis and may be used by non-hypnotists to qualify for HypnoBirthing Certification.

The HypnoBirthing workshop will be held Thursday and Friday, the 21st and 22nd of July. In order to attend you must either be a Certified Hypnotist or have completed the Introduction to Hypnosis workshop. Of the HypnoBirthing workshop, Mary Vieten, a psychologist and attendee at an earlier workshop says "thank you for your kindness and attention in addition to a successful experience with HypnoBirthing. What a dramatic improvement over delivery #1 (six years earlier)."

The HypnoAnesthesia for Pain Management workshop on Saturday and Sunday (23rd-24th) is for anyone that is interested in learning about Drug Free Pain Management. Mr. Eslinger states that "imagery is a powerful tool for reducing pain."
