Setting limits for our children can be challenging. Thoughtful parents of children with ADHD find that their children don't respond to traditional techniques. They and their children's teachers find themselves faced with a host of questions: How do we appropriately demand excellence Or do we lower our standards Ignore a behavior Or hold them accountable Is the behavior intentional Or was that an impulsive moment
Not setting limits does our children a disservice, especially if we want them to be able to make their own way in the world. Attend this meeting to learn when and how to set limits to help your child 8211; making the home or the classroom a more peaceful place. (2.0 Act 48 Hours)
